The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE “NBA-accredited”) was established in 2008 since the inception of the institute to offer a four-year full-time B.Tech. program and a two-year M.Tech. program in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department offers choice based credit systems along with electives as per latest industrial trends and requirement.
The department has highly qualified and motivated faculty and support staff who equip students with essential theoretical, practical, industrial, and research knowledge, enabling them to achieve their goals.
ECE is the most flexible branch in all engineering disciplines. The department’s laboratories are well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The Department provides a variety of initiatives, such as industrial visits, expert lectures, certificate courses, workshops, and internships etc., to ensure that students are well-prepared for the demands of the industry, in the areas like VLSI, 5G, 6G, IoT, Electronics manufacturing, along with related fields. The primary goal of the department is to produce quality technical manpower who can meet the challenges of industry and serve the society.
The department’s commitment to excellence is underscored by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of B.Tech – ECE program for three years starting from July 2023 to June 2026.
